Ursprünglich gab es das Simedit Beta Tool nur in deutscher Sprache von Race2XTC, um die sim-Dateien für Need for Speed Porsche zu editieren, jedoch Endat420 hat sich die Mühe gemacht das Tool ins Englische zu übersetzen, damit auch englische Cardesigner mit dem wirklich guten Tool etwas anfangen können und eigene *.sim-Files basteln können. Das Ergebnis kann sich durchaus sehen lassen:
